This is an elk I helped my old time frined, Earl, get on the West Desert. He drew with 14 points for a rifle tag. He is the best shot I have ever seen with a rifle. I literally have never seen him miss and have hunted with him since I was a teen. He recently purchased a Sako, 300 Ultra Mag, and put a "Gunwerks" scope on it and practiced shooting out to 1000 yards with the rifle. I was using some fancy range finder and ranged his bull as it herded approximately 30 cows across a sage brush flat. The elk including the bull were walking very slowly but still "moving". I ranged the bull at 882 yards when he shot and he hit it right behind the shoulder just like it was at 50 yards. His second shot hit the elk in the jaw as it staggered and tried to run off, he only had a head shot at that point. It was an awesome time with old friends and the most amazing shot I have ever seen. Earl literally sat down, extended the legs on a Harris bi-pod and shot in 3-4 seconds, as he did not have more time than that to get a shot off. It was awesome.. Enjoy.. Earl's boy Dave was my best friend growing up. Dave broke his leg just weeks before the hunt began. The elk is a non'typical. It has six on one side, missing the third point. A cheater gives it a six on that side, the cheater on the six point, where the seventh point normallly forms. The other side has two third points, giving it a solid seven points on that side. I am calling it a 7 by 6. It is way unique looking. It green scored 374 without any extra posible points for the non-typical.

This is my first archery buck and biggest buck to date! I shot it on Sept. 5 on my first day out within a half hour.

I took this deer on public land here in Kentucky on 18 Sept. of this year with my bow. He has 30 scoreable points and is pending to be the new Kentucky state record archery non typical. He has not been scored yet pending the drying period.

My 28 inch perfect 3x3 (actually 4x4 if you count the cheaters) buckaroo!! Super proud of this beauty! Was lucky enough to be 70 yards away while he was rubbing on a tree (gettin' ready for the rutt!!) My 2nd biggest buck! My first was a 32 inch 4x5, but this one is so unique looking, I love it!

Nice Buck

A bull I guided my friend to on the last day

I killed this buck on the Utah general muzzeloader. Scores 197.

My wife was able to harvest this bull on the Manti unit with a muzzleloader this year. It has 3 antlers. Its a 6x6x4. The left side has one antler with 4 points and one with 6 points. Very Unique!
